I have been invited to do a solo exhibition, gathering work from the past few years, from the swirls and Typewriter series, by fellow photographer David Rann. This event is associated with the launch of his new fotofilia premises in Birmingham, Great Britain.

24 Aug / 4th Sept, 18 Regent Parade, Birmingham, B1 3NS. Private view on the Tuesday 24th, 6 till 9.

Three prints from the Typewriter series will be displayed as part of the VIIIth International Festival of Experimental Art in St Petersburg, Russia. Unfortunately I won’t be able to be there, but if you’re around, you’re most welcome to go and have a look.

My friend Johanna Carillo, whom I met in Grenoble for the Square in Grenoble show, found a way to use the Typewriter photos in a way I would never have thought of. This is a brilliant idea, it pushes photography into real life. Love it.

A charming lady, called Tímea Várad, just found a neg in Budapest. She didn’t pick it up, because she thought it belonged to the book, but she’s going back for it She requested a neg to hide in her turn and apparently she has an idea…
